I'm Krista... I grew up in the deep south USA - Mississippi, to be exact. Living in the MS Delta as a tot, I moved to the suburbs of Jackson soon thereafter. I lived in Los Angeles for a brief stint in my early twenties, waiting tables and auditioning, and on the Big Island - Hawai’i where I worked on a farm between college semesters. After graduating from Mississippi State University in 2012, I moved to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina where I am still living.

Beginning in 2011, originally under the moniker of Fiddle Sticks, Hollerin’ Kitten is a blog that serves as a place to share actions that make living life so beautiful: being, doing, getting, going, hearing, making, and seeing.
